Great Kingswood Children's Christmas Event

The Kingswood Business Association has no plans to run a Christmas event in 2011.

Kingswood Community Christmas

On December 4th 2010, Kingswood Business Association arranged a Christmas Event for the children of Kingswood.

It was held at Kingswood Shopping Centre, and along Regent Street to the British Legion Club.

There were entertainers around the Shopping Centre, a Children’s Treasure Hunt, and of course Father Christmas in his grotto at the British Legion.

The afternoon of fun and entertainment for families was open to all and free of charge.

It was organised by members of the Kingswood Business Association (KBA), supported by Wilkinson, Booker Wholesale, British Legion Club, CTK (Churches Together in Kingswood), Kingswood Street Pastors and others.

The children's event replaced a planned Christmas Lights switch-on, which faced logistical road closure problems that could not be resolved in time.
