About The Park Centre

The Park Centre (Kingswood) is a newly renovated venue in what was previously The Park School.

The project was initially funded by South Glos Council, who worked closely with the Kingswood community to establish a resource required in the locality.

Extensive consultation highlighted a need for a facility that could be used to bring new social, educational and business opportunities to the community as a whole.

Room Hire

The Park Centre has meeting rooms of various sizes for hire from £5 per hour, including a small interview room, IT suite and Arts and Crafts room.

Rooms will be set up as per your request i.e. boardroom, cabaret, horseshoe etc. and come with whiteboards, screens and flipcharts.

Other equipment available includes digital projector, laptops, Interactive whiteboard, and OHP, TV/DVD/Video and WIFI connection.

Adult Courses

Various courses run at the centre for adults including Computers for beginners, Job Skills /CV writing, Confidence Building, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and more...

Children’s Birthday Parties (for 0 – 11years)

Hire the room for a two hour party with half an hour before to set-up and half an hour after to clear away - £60.00

Special offer; Free Bouncy Castle. Also a gift for the birthday child.

The Park Cafe

Brandon Trust

The cafe is run by The Brandon Trust as a training and employment facility for adults with learning difficulties.

Open to the public and centre users, they provide freshly cooked meals, cold snacks and ‘home baked’ cakes.

Buffets can be ordered by The Park Centre users and to be delivered to other organisations.

Regular Sessions

The Park Centre hosts a number of key events for various clubs and associations - see below and right for details. Why not come along and join one of these fun activities? It's a great way to meet new people.

Weekly:
50+ Club, Arts and Crafts, Parents and Toddlers, Slimming World, Kumon, Stop Smoking (by referral 0117 3302439)

Monthly:
Flower Arranging, History Society, Children’s activities and discos in the school holidays. Contact the centre for details unless otherwise stated.
