Around once a month, we send an email newsletter to anyone who would like to receive it, letting them know what's new on MyKingswood - new competitions, new businesses and groups, and new things to see and do.
Here's the latest:
You may be aware of the success of the first stage of Springswood in Kingswood, which aims to make Kingswood greener, and so a better place in which to live, shop and trade.
It's now time to refresh the planters and prepare the town centre for the ‘Where are the Kingswood snowmen? event’, the Christmas lights and other autumn events - and you're invited to join in the replanting.
If that inspires you, pop along to this month's Connecting Kingswood meeting to help strengthen and grow Kingswood’s local community, Celebrate Wellbeing Together with free activities and refreshments, and use your little grey cells to help raise money for charity work in Kingswood at Brooks Cafe's first Quiz Night.
Have a spooktacular Halloween: decorate biscuits at Brooks Cafe, make spooky decorations at the Park Centre, party with the October Dreamscheme, take a torch and something scary to Kingswood Park and wear fancy dress to the Park Centre disco.
Also this October - make a note of new opening hours at Kingswood library, join the congregation at Potters Wood Church to mark their 125th anniversary with a service and favourite hymns, and Curiouser and curiouser... it's the last of Kingswood Heritage Centre's season of talks of local interest.
