Royal School of Needlework: Mounting Your Embroidery
This one-day introduction course will set you up with the basic skills needed to be able to mount a piece of embroidery around acid free mount board in order for it to be ready for framing or display.
On the day you will have a choice of various fabrics printed with different designs and will learn how to choose an appropriate size for your finished work, covering mount board in calico, stretching and stitching the fabric around mount board and attaching an appropriate backing.
