Introduction to Embroidery: 'Japanese Cherry Blossom' £104.00.
Worked on a blue cotton, this is a very simple kit covering only 3 techniques. It is aimed for people who have not stitched before.You will learn basic Japanese couching with a creative element. as well as French knots and Japanese knots, both being worked differently. When finished the kit will be mounted in a 5” hoop.

Here at the Creative Youth Network on the Kingswood estate we have a couple of smal internal spaces up for lease, as well as regular day/evening hire of our spaces with plenty of weekend availability on an hourly basis.
Our site in East Bristol is the centre of our operations as well as the home to 25 other arts and charity organisations.
We’re based in a Victorian building that has great character and loads of space, surrounded by an urban oasis.
If you’re looking for a place to host a relaxation or exercise class, a meeting, workshop, conference or corporate function, the Kingswood Estate could be just what you’re looking for.

Orchard Workshop was set up by Janet Parsons in 1986 and has evolved over the years.
Originally the name of the charity was Girls Workshop, reflecting the work done with girls and women. Now Orchard Workshop offers people of all abilities and ages the opportunity to develop their creativity and skills in practical crafts.
Our courses are led by local professional artists and tutors, skilled in woodwork, jewellery and silversmithing, stained glass, pottery, woodturning, enamelling, metalwork, drawing and painting. We also have specialist tutors in literacy and numeracy.
Orchard Workshop provides a welcoming and supportive environment in which to develop your ideas and talents. We offer courses for all aged 8 – 80+! Our team of creative tutors help you to achieve your artistic and personal goals. Courses are designed for small groups so there is time to meet people and make new friends.
We are committed to working with people with a broad spectrum of interests, including those with special needs and learning difficulties.
